Care Plus® ^Anti -Insect Icaridin is based on Icaridin, also known as Saltidin, Picaridin, or KBR 3023, and is effective against various types of mosquitoes that can cause diseases such as malaria, Zika, yellow fever, and dengue fever. The World Health Organization also recommends this active ingredient as an insect repellent. The active ingredient is sec-butyl 2-(2-hydroxyethyl) piperidine-1-carboxylate (CAS No. 119515-38-7).
